My name is Cassie-Leigh Stock and I am the owner & head dog trainer/instructor at Higher Expectations (HEX) Dog Training & Behavior Modification. My greatest passion in life is dog training.
As the owner of HEX (and five rescued pit bull dogs) in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, I am so grateful to live, eat, breathe that passion through Higher Expectations Dog Training & Behavior Modification every day. HEX offers private in-home dog training, obedience for those with higher expectations, puppy, basic & higher classes, mixed bag drop-in classes, Canine Good Citizen prep. & testing, reactive dog handling courses, trick dog drop-ins, puppy play groups, rescued/shelter dog specialty courses & more. We love and work with dogs of all breeds, and as the founder and president of the New England Bully Breed Club, I specialize in pit bulls and other bully breeds, rescued/shelter dogs, and reactivity as an issue. Private training is also a specialty of Higher Expectations. We have been able to make changes where others' have not because of our "outside the box" creativity, progressive-thinking, open-mindedness & ongoing commitment to education. We are also not committed to any one training tool, technique or method exclusively. We run a truly personalized program for each dog & handler, and have been incredibly successful with clients who have "tried everything," based on this "non-philosophy philosophy." Your mind is the most powerful tool you have... not a particular collar or harness. We want to train you and your dog in the most efficient, safe, most effective & fun way possible, whether that means curbing hardcore "dog aggression," making a splash in dockdogs or just gaining some house manners! There are also situations where we work within the parameters set forth by an entity or a person. I am educated, experienced & certified in many schools of dog training, and HEX Apprentices benefit from the same. While training, I also take into consideration the urgency of any situation. We also volunteer our time with shelter dogs and volunteers at no cost. Check out the Donate page for more information on what we do there.
