Pictured here is Patches, who originated in the shelter-system at the Fitchburg Animal Shelter, and eventually ended up with me, having developed aggression toward strangers as well as with other dogs. As you can see by this photo, he has come a long way, trustworthy, more relaxed and at times, a downright friendly guy.
Arguably, for some odd reason, my favorite issue to work on is dog-on-dog aggression and reactivity toward the unfamiliar. I love confidence-building, relationship-building, and the rapid progress often seen in these cases when an effective training program is implemented.
